Blue Jeans & Boots Gala – Frequently Asked Questions

What is Blue Jeans & Boots Gala?
Blue Jeans & Boots Gala is a celebrated annual event ~ a fun, high-energy evening filled with dinner, auctions, desserts, music, and community celebration!  This year’s event supports Advancing Excellence in Breast Health through The Breast Center at EvergreenHealth Monroe and the new clinic opening in Snohomish!
- brought to you by the EvergreenHealth Monroe Foundation.

When and where is the event?
The 2026 Blue Jeans & Boots Gala will take place Friday, September 11, 2026 at Thomas Family Farms located at 9010 Marsh Rd in Snohomish, WA!   We’re excited to bring the event to Snohomish and expand into a larger venue that allows us to welcome even more guests, community partners, local businesses, sponsors, and supporters for this special evening.

What time does the event begin?
Guest check-in will open at 4:30 p.m. to allow for a relaxed arrival experience and help guests avoid long lines at the registration tables. The evening’s festivities, social hour, and silent auction officially begin at 5:00 p.m.

What should I wear?
Blue Jeans & Boots is a fun, relaxed, country-inspired evening. You’ll see everything from fancy loafers to cowboy boots. Dress to suit your personality - whether that means dressy denim, western flair, cocktail casual, or something in between. We want you to feel festive, comfortable, and ready to have a great time.

What is included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes admission to the event, dinner, drinks and access to the evening’s fundraising activities and auction experiences.

Will alcohol be served?
Yes. Wine, beer, and signature beverages will be available for guests age 21 and older with valid ID.

Will there be a silent and live auction?
Yes!  Guests will enjoy both silent and live auction experiences featuring exciting packages, travel, dining, entertainment, desserts, and fundraising opportunities throughout the evening.  We’re also thrilled to welcome back former Husky football player Terry Hollimon as this year’s live auctioneer.

What is the Dessert Dash?
The Dessert Dash is one of the evening’s most anticipated traditions and a true guest favorite. Tables contribute toward the opportunity to select their favorite dessert first, and guests always look forward to seeing the incredible dessert offerings available that night. The higher the table contribution, the earlier your table’s ‘dessert runner’ gets to dash to the dessert table.

Will there be dancing?
Yes! By popular request, Blue Jeans & Boots will end the evening with 45min to an hour of music, dancing, and celebration.  We heard from so many guests over the years who wanted a chance to keep the fun going — and this is the year!

Can I attend if I’m not familiar with EvergreenHealth Monroe Foundation?
Absolutely. Blue Jeans & Boots welcomes community members, supporters, businesses, friends, and guests who simply want to enjoy a meaningful evening while supporting local healthcare.

Can I support the event if I cannot attend?
Yes.  Donations are always welcome and help support healthcare services and programs in our community.  One easy way to contribute is visiting on our website at:  Donate – EvergreenHealth Monroe Foundation.

How can my business sponsor the event?
Sponsorship opportunities are available at a variety of levels and include recognition opportunities throughout the event and promotional materials.  Sponsorship information on this event page.

How do I donate an auction item?
We gratefully accept donations including experiences, dining, travel, entertainment, wine, gift cards, services, sports packages, and unique experiences. You can do so on this event site – or at  Procurement – EvergreenHealth Monroe Foundation.

Will there be parking?
Yes! We’re excited that our new venue offers ample complimentary on-site parking for guests, making arrival and access easy and convenient for everyone attending the evening.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?
Blue Jeans & Boots includes both indoor and outdoor spaces so guests can enjoy the best of both worlds.  If the September weather cooperates, guests can relax outdoors with lounge seating, cozy couches, and heaters while enjoying the evening atmosphere under the Snohomish sky.  Layers are still recommended once the sun goes down.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
Our dinner service is buffet-style, with menu selections chosen to offer a variety of options that accommodate many common dietary preferences and needs. While we may not be able to provide individually prepared meals for every restriction, guests will typically find several items to choose from throughout the buffet.

Is my donation tax deductible?
EvergreenHealth Monroe Foundation is a nonprofit organization. Tax deductibility depends on applicable laws and the fair market value of goods or services received. Receipts will be provided following the event.
